Up to Christmas -
Overall, so far, myself and my group are doing relatively well. We do not have disagreements often and we have stayed on track throughout this stage of the year. This is because:
- We have avoided disagreements / arguments just so we can get the rehearsals done quicker
- We have focused on choosing songs which please all of us as a group, so it doesn't get completely tedious for members of our group
- In addition, my drumming skills have improved from the start of this year up to Christmas. I have noticed that I have a wider variety of fills and grooves that I can play. The cause of this is partly natural, as I think of beats in my spare time and make beats with my hands. However due to my instrumental lessons, my practice sessions at home and the fact that our group is learning new songs of different genres is also what has aided my progression in my drumming skills.
Despite this, there are still improvements we can make (see Term Review 2)
